I saw this post today and I feel like I had a bit of an epiphany.
As silly as it might sound, I’ve been trying to put up reasonably original stuff, without repeating myself too much. Kind of a “dissertation” attitude toward posts.
Honestly, it’s caused me more often than not, to tell myself it’s not worth saying something that’s been said before.
But I was watching Javier Milei, the freaking president of Argentina, and he’s spending time saying things I’ve heard a million times–saying them to the world.
And that’s when it hit me: maybe I should say things that seem obvious or old hat more often. Maybe these things bear repeating.
After all, if we’re going to fight the Big Lie of statism, we might have to repeat the truth as many times as the statists say each Lie. Because even the purveyors of Big Lies think those need to be repeated, so why shouldn’t we say the same truths more than once?
