I’ve been hearing commentators, most notably Sargon of Akkad and Nick Fuentes, saying we need to “give up on the free market.” But we haven’t had anything like a free market for over a hundred years, and what have we gotten for it?

It reminds me of an old gun rights meme: they want more of our cake, and they’re going to come back over and over again and every time the “problem” is that we have any cake left over at all.
Don’t buy the nonsense they’re trying to sell.
